The 1st Irish WHD Championship successfully took place in Ardboyne Hotel, Navan, Co.Meath on Sunday, 22nd November 2009. It was Grandmaster Kim’s 7 year Anniversary in teaching under the name of IWA. Nearly 200 young and adult members came together from IWA Clubs in Ireland.

There were competitions for forms, techniques, games and sparring (light contact for children under 13years & semi-contact for 14years+). Everybody enjoyed the day embracing a great spirit of challenge. IWA team sincerely thanks all of participants & their parents and families, instructors and all the people who helped throughout the day. Local politicians and First Secretary from the Korean Embassy officially opened the event. We were happy and grateful for their support of the event.
